What is included in DDP (Double Clearance & Tax Paid)?

Our DDP service covers export customs from origin, ocean/air freight, destination import customs clearance, and the payment of all applicable import duties and VAT. You simply pay one flat rate.

Who pays for customs exam/inspection fees?

Customs inspections are random or targeted based on risk. If an inspection occurs, the associated terminal and inspection fees are typically billed back to the shipper, unless pre-arranged differently in your contract.

How early should I prepare clearance documents?

We require the Commercial Invoice and Packing List at least 3-5 days before the vessel/flight departs to allow time for pre-auditing and avoiding delays.

What happens if the HS Code is wrong?
